Bio

Carissa has a flair for capturing a sense of brand by allowing people to act from the heart.

Her work focuses on raw, unfiltered stories, that often build emotional momentum through layered images and voices.

 

A graduate of NYU and AFI, Carissa began her career in cinematography. She worked her way through the Camera Department, eventually becoming an on-set Colorist and Digital Imaging Technician (DIT), a position held by few women at the time. In 2014 Carissa taught herself to edit and began making short-form content which she directed, edited and color corrected.  She worked as an in-house director/editor for Patagonia from 2016-2020. She also produces; her credits include the Max Docu-series Chimp Crazy. She has been creating branded content for over a decade.
